Audit Committee
The Audit Committee, established in 2000, is composed of volunteers appointed by the Board of Commissioners for a two-year term. Chair and Vice Chair appointments are made for three years. The five-member committee reviews and gives the Board of Commissioners their recommendations regarding the quarterly financial report and financial statements. Members also review the annual operating budget, the draft of the annual audit and make recommendations to the Board concerning selection of an audit firm.

Real Property Investment Committee
The Real Property Investment Committee was formed in April 2008 by the Board of Commissioners to advise the Board on real estate transactions proposed by staff. Areas of involvement may include acquisitions, redevelopment of existing properties, partnerships with developers or other potential affordable housing development projects. Each Commissioner nominates two members for a total of ten members. All nominees are approved by the full Board and serve two year terms or three year terms if nominated by the Chair/Vice Chair.
